There’s something special about gathering at the farm as the seasons begin to change.

Our workshops are a place to slow down, make something with your hands, learn a little, and spend time surrounded by flowers, fields, and good company.

Each experience is shaped by what is happening on the farm at that moment — from the first spring flowers to overflowing summer gardens, pumpkins and dried blooms in autumn, and evergreens as winter settles in.

This Fall at Little Crest

Fall might just be one of our favourite seasons to gather.

This year we're bringing back Petals & Pumpkins, our much-loved pumpkin centrepiece workshop, alongside something completely new — flower casting, where we'll preserve the textures and shapes of the season in a piece made to last long after the garden has gone to sleep.

Expect buckets of farm-grown flowers, pumpkins, dried botanicals, warm drinks, a little mess, plenty of creativity, and time spent making something beautiful together.

We’re so excited to welcome you to our hands-on workshops — a place for creativity, connection, and getting your hands a little dirty. Whether you’re learning the rhythms of growing flowers or designing something beautiful to take home, our farm becomes a gathering place for friends, makers, and flower-lovers alike.

Workshops are offered throughout the year, each one shaped by the season — but this spring, we’re especially excited to introduce a new series of immersive experiences, unlike anything we’ve offered before and unlike anything else in Nova Scotia. These gatherings go beyond “workshops.” They are slow, sensory experiences rooted in land, soil, flowers, and connection to place.

As the seasons turn, so do our offerings. Spring invites seed-starting, soil, and the first blooms. Summer moves into abundance and harvesting. Autumn brings foraging and preservation. Winter glows with evergreens, warmth, and making.
